I have never seen any Star Wars movie. I know, crazy
right? But even with that being the case I know that the movie premiering
tonight, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, is a BFD. So to
celebrate with all the Star Wars fans
out there, here some Star
Wars nails in honor of the
new movie.
For
these nails we have the galaxy and an R2D2 (whatever that is) nail. The galaxy
nails were made by adding China Glaze Razzle Me Dazzle Me over Orly Liquid
Vinyl and a few white dots in Art Deco white. The R2D2 nail was Zoya Trixie and
Art Deco white for the base layer and then Ink Nail Art in Deep Blue, Orly
Liquid Vinyl, Kiss Brush On Nail Art Paint in silver, and OPI What's Your
Point-settia for the details.
Are you
going to see it when it comes out? Have you seen all the other Star
Wars movies? Which is your favorite?
I haven't really watched any of the movies either. But these are super cute!
ReplyDeleteAw thank you very much! I'm glad I'm not alone -- everyone's reaction is always "WHAAAT?!" when they find out I haven't seen the movies. Who knows, maybe this is the Star Wars movie I'll end up seeing?
DeleteLove love love star wars. so obviously I like your nails
ReplyDeleteThank you Dina! I wanted to be able to celebrate with all the Star Wars fans out there :)

DeleteLove this mani, it came out great!
ReplyDeleteNow go watch those movies :P ;)
Thank you so much, you're too kind! I will have to track the movies down!
DeleteThe movie is great and your nails too! White dots, stars imitation, are adorable! Last year I've also made my gel nail manicure dedicated to a movie, "The Hobbit: The Battle of The Five Armies".
ReplyDeleteOooh I will have to check out your Hobbit nails! The Hobbit was one of my favorite books (it's what made me read the LOTR trilogy...which I enjoyed less) and I enjoyed when the film came out. Thank you so much for your compliments! :)
DeleteUnfortunately I don't have any photos of that manicure left, but I did them after this video tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ffU_JCjK--o
DeleteThose are amazing! I really like the finished design :) I've only tried the newspaper technique once or twice but I always love the results!
Deletelove this!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad! It was really fun to try and get right :)
