Happy (belated) 4th Birthday/Anniversary to the Files!

On August 10, 2010, I decided to click "Publish" on my very first NikkisNailFiles post. The design was this one (still a favorite of mine and one that I will wear every now and then). Since then I have enjoyed all the fantastic readers and people who have stopped by the Files to say hello or to simply check out a specific design. I can't wait to see where this blog goes from here and what designs are in store. For all the photos of over 4 years of nail designs, check out my "The Real Files" tab under the header. For today's post I have a gorgeous Pinterest-inspired chevron and teal aquamarine blue/green-ish color design. Unfortunately I cannot remember the original source! If you know it/find it/etc please comment with the link below so I can give credit!

Happy 3rd Birthday to this little Blog!

Three years ago I finished designing and preparing this little blog here and uploaded my first manicure/pedicure post. Again, the basis for the blog was just to allow me to keep track of all the designs I try so that I could redo them if I want. Yes, it was my sister's idea. Yes, it is still so much fun and I love uploading each and every post I write (I hope whoever reads them likes them too!)

Nail blog aside. How cute is this cake?? 

I took this photo off of Google images so no, I'm not also an amazing baker.

Although, if I could make cakes like that I'd drop out of law school and open a bakery!

Happy 2nd Birthday NikkisNailFiles

Two years ago I listened to an idea that my older sister had and created this blog to keep track of my nail designs. I'm so pleased to be still updating it now, two years into it. I know I don't post as frequently as I did when I first started but I'm really trying to keep bringing new designs and new things to this blog. If any reader has feedback, suggestions, or post ideas I would love to hear them!!
