VDay Inspiration

Phew, made it through my first couple days of work! But enough about that, Valentine's Day is just a week away and today is my first Valentine's Day nail inspiration post of 2016. It's not too early right? This design is a simple and cheerful pink, white, and silver design featuring polka dots. It's also one I would totally wear to work. Ha, I love saying that (Note: in case you haven't been reading my blog for a while I recently spent about 9 months unemployed because I graduated law school, took the bar, and then had to find a job so yes, I'm thrilled to be back working!!).
I know this isn't the most unique design. I'm sure it's not the first time you've seen a design like this (it's not even the first time I posted a design like this) BUT I thought it was perfect for Valentine's Day. I used China Glaze International Flare for the pink, Brucci Jessica's Wedding Bells for the silver, and Zoya Snow White as the white.

  1. sorry for not commenting in a while, but i've been reading you and i'm going to spam your comments section on all posts right now hehe! i loooove this design, it's so neat and elegant yet fun and yes, cheerful and work friendly. looking at it i've honestly thought how far you've come in your skills and how much of an improvement there is compared to what you did when i first started following you. i love all of the colours you've used here and the combo of them, i'd totally happily wear this exact look on my nails. happy first valentine's day to A. and you since you moved in together!!!!

    1. No worries! I have to catch up on your posts (which I am doing now!). I'm glad you like this design and thank you so much for saying I've improved! That's one of the reasons I enjoy blogging so much...it gives me the ability to see how designs have gotten better since I started!

  2. That's so pretty! :) I like that it fits the holiday but doesn't beat people upside the head with hearts and Cupids.

    1. Thank you so much!! I agree -- valentine's day hearts can be so over done and obnoxious (not that I wouldn't totally paint hearts on my nails because I absolutely would...lol).
