Gimme mo', let it Snow!

Yesterday brought us the first flurries of the year and I have to say I was pretty psyched! I was starting to wonder when we would get snow because for a while it was super warm (record breaking warmth in fact) for winter. Remember my previous snow manicure from 2010? I can't believe how much better this photo is than the mani I did in 2010! There might be a snow storm brewing for this weekend and I'm so excited that I'm saying GIMME MO' SNOW! These are my 2016 snow nails:
Nikki's Nail Files, Snowman Manicure
How cute is that tiny little snowman?? For these I used Zoya Indigo as the base and stamped Winstonia (W120) in Art Deco white, Kiss Brush On Nail Art Paint in Sky Blue and Kiss Brush On Nail Art Paint in Silver for the snowflakes/snowman. I also added a couple silver and white dots to each nail and called it a day. Zoya Indigo is an intriguing polish -- it looks deep blue but if you look closely/under light you'll see it has glitter in it. Perhaps a swatch is coming!
So what are your thoughts on snow? I don't mind snow so long as I can spend the day cozy in a blanket on my couch sipping hot chocolate (or eating soup) and watching TV with my sweets! Otherwise, I say NO to snow. Do you like snow??

  1. Such a beautiful manicure! <3 This couldn't be any prettier!
I'm a no to snow kinda gal. I really belong in warmer climates, I normally hibernate when it gets too much :)

  2. so, is the little snowman stamped as well? it's so adorable i want to adopt it! i am loving the dotting work as well. very nice overall. we're likeminded here as well: i really like how watching snowing out the window makes me feel when i'm warm under a blanket at home sipping some hot chocolate on a lazy day, but i hate it when i need to go out. landscape gets really fascinating though and the overall athmosphere too.

    1. Yes, the snowman and snowflakes are both stamped using the same Winstonia plate. It's a sort of Christmas/winter plate that has the different snowflakes, a snowman, a santa hat, a candycane, etc. And we are so on the same page about snow!! Is there anything prettier than a blanket of fresh snow on the ground and ice lined tree branches?? (as long as you can stay indoors)

  3. The snowman is so cute! And the base colour is perfect!
We had a little but of snow here in Scotland, and it was pretty (but chilly), until it started melting and getting a bit grubby. I really like snow though, I much prefer it to this rain and wind we have now!! X

    1. Thank you! Ha, it's funny about this post title because we just got walloped with a blizzard this past weekend. I guess I should have been more careful to say "Gimme Mo'" ....I didn't want THAT much snow!! I'm planning a post recapping the snow fun so check back if you like :D
